I have a friend who’s trans that’s going through a lot of shit right now, mostly from his parents, who don’t believe trans people exist. For years people have been telling him to kill himself. He’s already attempted once. I love him and support him and have been trying to help him, but there are so many people who hate him (including himself) in his life that I don’t know if he believes me. I don’t know what to do. I feel helpless and I’m certain that if something happens, whatever I do won’t make any difference.
