of course! miss society .. the resemblance of how the humans society truly thinks and acts like …
mental illness is not something you just get over, it’s a disease that will stay with you until it either kills you, or it dies with you.

    thanks Clay.

Exactly. This is a war, with many, many battles… Today feels like too many battles.
The only way to “win” or to “beat” your mental health demons, is to die of something else. I’m still alive and not going anywhere, but I am continuously unconvinced of the merits of sticking around for the fight. The only reason I’m alive today is because I am a coward, and know too well the probabilities of screwing up a serious attempt.

The lack of hope is the enemy’s greatest weapon. Don’t let it decide what you do.

Depression can be overcome, at least in some cases, though I don’t think I’ll ever be rid of it entirely. It hangs around like Wormtongue, whispering lies and bad advice. But I’ve got it locked in the dungeon while I sit on the throne and rule the kingdom. It no longer controls me.

alternatively: Hope is the greatest of all evils, for it prolongs the suffering of man.

I mean, the effort and intent is obviously well meaning, you’re a good sort. I can’t say why I shared myself previously, but I don’t think it started or ended with the intent of fishing for sympathy. Though I do find myself having to edit a lot of honest expression out of my posts so they don’t garner such a response.

Neitche’s idea above also isn’t intended to drive people to suicide, I don’t think he accepted it as a valid conclusion to the conundrum of existence. But he at least recognized that hope can be inappropriate in some circumstances.

I think we can all relate to this one, and that’s quite sad. 🙁

Also, lovely illustration style and very expressive body language.
