What’s equally fun is when you do start enjoying yourself and dissociating at the same time so you don’t really feel like yourself when you are enjoying yourself. Makes sense right?

Thank you. I’d always thought it was just me. I’d come away from a social event where I had fun and while walking home think ‘who on earth was that person?’

For some reason makes me think of the song “After Hours” by The Velvet Underground.

A pity they can’t both see the mark of depression on each other..

On the other hand… if they can know they are both depressed, can they make good friends?

Were they to become good friends, I would hope they could save each other from this kind of torture in the future.
