I’ve given up hiding and just take the scorn and dirty or sometimes pitying looks from everyone or if they can’t decipher what they really are make up some random excuse like some skateboard or bike accident.

    I know this so well…
I’ve actually stopped cutting because of that reason.. I had a goal that when all my scars are faded (which they are by now) I will finally be able to show my arms and legs.. I have reached that goal and I am about 2 to 3 months clean, I think. tbh I stopped counting. XD

EVERY time I’m at the beach, EVERY summer day I’m out and about, EVERY hike with friends, EVERY walk in the park. All those girls my age in adorable dresses and swim suits… and then there’s me.

Thus, why I refuse to wear swimsuits when I swim, and if i do, wear athletic clothes over them (baggy shorts, big t-shirts).
